Der Streamingdienst Netflix baut sein Angebot an Animes weiter aus. Im Laufe des nächsten Jahres können sich die Abonnenten auf mehr eigenproduzierte und neu startende Anime-Serien sowie auf bereits bekanntere Animes wie den Klassiker Neon Genesis Evangelion freuen, die Netflix mit an Bord holt.

In Neon Genesis Evangelion (im Original Shin Seiki Evangelion) wird Tokyo von mächtigen Engeln angegriffen. Kaorus hat zwei ungewöhnliche Mitbewohner. Rilakkuma und Korilakkuma sind zwei liebenswerte Teddybären, die am liebsten faulenzen oder essen. Die beiden sind eines Tages ganz unvermittelt bei Kaorus aufgetaucht, um bei ihr zu leben. Obwohl Rilakkuma einen Reißverschluss auf dem Rücken hat, weiß keiner, was sich in ihm verbirgt. Er mag Pfannkuchen, Reis-Omelettes und Karamellpudding. Tagsüber vertreibt Rilakkuma sich die Zeit im Appartement mit dem weißen Bärenjungen Korilakkuma und Kaorus Haustier, dem Vogel Kiiroitori. Durch die Teddybären stellt Kaorus fest, dass das Geheimnis des Lebens manchmal einfach Entspannen heißt.
Die Stop-Motion-Animationsserie wird von Netflix als oft süß und manchmal bitter beschrieben. Rilakkuma und Korilakkuma sind in Japan beliebte Figuren und Maskottchen.

2018 was a fantastic year for anime titles on Netflix. Landing in the latter half of the year, Forest of Piano was nothing short of excellent. Despite the CG animation used throughout the Piano playing series, it did not fail to impress.

Kai is the only one able to play on the abandoned Piano, impressed by his ability Shuhei asks him to take Piano lessons. Kai is resistant to taking lessons to refine his technique even after earning the respect of Shuhei’s teacher former Master Pianist Sosuke Ajino. It isn’t until Kai hears Sosuke play a piece of music from Chopin that he can’t play himself he finally gives in.
The serialization of the manga lasted from 2001 to 2017 and only now in 2019 are we receiving the very first anime adaptation. Netflix is certainly stepping up its anime game and we’re certainly expecting

Por fin, después de lo que parecía ser una temporada llena de atrasos y excusas, por fin llega Evangelion a Netflix. No solamente con el estreno de la serie original de 26 episodios, sino que trae más.
Se agrega Evangelion: Death (True)² la cual es un tipo de Director’s Cut de toda la serie que incluye 24 episodios. Estos tienen escenas extra y ademas le da un poco más de sentido a toda la historia. es un experimento interesante de ver pero que solamente para los fanáticos extremos de Evangelion.
Además tenemos The End of Evangelion, una película que muchos consideran como el final verdadero de la serie. Que no es que elimine lo visto en los 26 episodios, sino que llega a complementar lo que ocurrido en los últimos capítuloss. Sinceramente es muy buena y tiene un soundtrack memorable.
